In the Indiana Senate race, Republican Jim Banks has won, NBC News projects. The race was between Democrat Valerie McCray and Banks. Libertarian Andrew Horning was also on the ballot. The contest was for an open seat after Sen. Mike Braun opted to run for governor instead of seeking re-election.
