I love a lot of things about the KitchenAid stand mixer, but what I love most is how much it speeds up the baking and prep process. It significantly reduces the amount of time you’d usually spend mixing batters and doughs by hand or with an electric hand mixer —plus, you don’t end up with a sore bicep at the end. This mixer has 10 speed settings and comes with multiple attachments, including a dough hook, wire whisk, paddle and a pouring shield, which prevents powdery foods, such as flour and confectioner’s sugar, from flying everywhere when you add it to the 5-quart, stainless steel bowl.
